Here are 13 elements you can put into practice to take a stand for humanity today:

  • Pay attention to non-verbal messaging from the people with whom you're talking

  • Be yourself and set an example

  • Have courage

  • Be responsible and accountable for your actions

  • Establish trust and rapport

  • Help and learn from each other

  • Take care of the people around you

  • Be strong in your values and understand them

  • Ask questions, try to build a coalition of people and allies who can make a change

  • Speak up, don't be silent to mistreatments

  • Catch people doing something good and show appreciation

  • Listen and learn from what you hear

  • Help teach and train people and employees
